Happy Holidays (site not dead!)
The good news is, I'm not planning to let the site whither up and die. I just paid my domain renewal and hosting fees for 2009, so the site should be here a while. And I still have plans for more content. The bad news is that I have holiday travel plans and won't be able to continue updating things for at least a couple more weeks yet. Sorry about that, I really wanted to have at least one more article up by now. But it will come, sooner or later. In fact I just finished the 300W dummy load that's been occupying most of the recent "In Progress" udpates, so that might be next. See you all in early January! aaronv 11:15pm 21 Dec 08 |

A cold, wet weekend means...
...another productive day in the workshop! More has been done on the 300W+ dummy load, particularly on the instrumentation and control side of things. In addition to that, I'm throwing together a Gainclone-sized amplifier using a quasi- complimentary HEXFET output stage with IRFP044Ns.
