A fall colors section has been added to the photo galleries.

Just added another gallery to the photography site. Have a couple more planned but haven't had a chance to prepare the material yet. Meanwhile, enjoy a collection of sunset photos from various Colorado locations.

First major update to the photography site has been uploaded. I popped the three-frame layout in favor of a two-frame that suits the need of the galleries to scroll horizontally. Or rather, gallery, since there's only one posted right now. More to come, though.

Yep, it's still here. Domain and hosting fees are paid for 2011.

For any of you who are still checking this news blog...congratulations, you're more faithful to it than I am! 2009 was a rough year for a number of reasons, culminating in a grandmother's death just before Christmas. As a result of the cumulative stress, I lost both time and interest in dealing with either the website or the audio hobby.

Next, a lot happened in 2010. I started a photography hobby in early February and rapidly built up a collection of Canon digital SLR equipment. Hence, the redesign of the front page, as the site will now host both of my hobbies. I sold one of my two cars and bought another. There were also a couple miscellaneous upgrades to my computer, including a Dell IPS-type monitor (for the photography hobby, again). And towards the end of the year, my sister became pregnant with her fourth, so my duties as an uncle will expand accordingly in the fall of 2011. And I hired a friend to re-write this website in CSS, but never got around to learning enough CSS to implement it, so we're still running old-fashioned, hand-coded HTML for the time being.

What lies ahead for the audio portion of this website in 2011, I have no idea. There are still a few projects I would like to build, and several that I would like to post here. But who knows? Time is in short supply as my job responsibilities increase, and the photography is chewing up a frightening amount of cash. One way or another, I hope to at least write up the projects already shown in the section indexes.

Meanwhile, I want to try and build a couple photo galleries for the new half of the site. Nothing big, just enough to demonstrate my capabilities and maybe post a couple things that I found particularly odd or interesting when viewed through a camera lens.
